To join MITAADC, you must be an MIT alum and an SEC-accredited investor.

Sign up through MIT Infinite Connection to be added to our mailing list (once logged in, hit the “Subscribe” button for the MITAADC email group)

After that, participate in the events that interest you. We have no membership dues or other obligations.

Want to learn more about Angel investing and Entrepreneurship?

We provide opportunities for interested Angels to participate in all aspects of our group, including:

  • Ecosystem: Outreach to the DC-Maryland-Virginia entrepreneur and Angel ecosystem. Attend partner events. Optionally serve as a panelist for a partner event. Promote us and solicit applications from quality start-ups.

  • Selection: Meet and discuss start-up candidates to select those most appropriate for presenting to us

  • Events: Shape and be visible at pitch events and our “Fun & Knowledge” social events

  • Due Diligence: Facilitate deeper exploration with other interested Angels into a start-up who presented

These opportunities are not only fun, but have provided members of our group with deeper insights into this space and connections to further expand in areas that interest them.

MIT Alumni Angels of DC (MITAADC) is not a venture fund, an investment bank, a broker dealer, an investment clearinghouse, or an investment advisor, but rather a forum in which investors may be educated about aspects of investment and business, as well introduced to companies for possible investment.
